Engagement picture outfits??

So I got a free 30 minute engagement session this saturday from an up and coming photographer I met on Facebook. She needs them for her portfolio and I'm not one to turn down a photoshoot. My photographer is really booked right now so I'm not sure when she will be able to do mine.

My wedding is very rustic country backwoods barn type theme. I eventually wanna do the typical country engagement photos with the guns and camo and deer antlers but I think I will do that with my photographer.

She said there will be a fall setup. So I was thinking maybe matching flannel? We are both definitely going to wear cowboy boots I'm sure. FH will probably be in a flannel button down and jeans. Should I match or do a nice sweater? I'm leaning towards matching flannel. And should I wear black leggings or skinny jeans/jeggings?

I think skinny jeans or jeggings would go with the flannel. I like the idea of matching flannel

If your other photo shoot is going to be country themed, I would wear something nicer than a flannel for this one.

With my other shoot it will probably be 2 different outfits I think. The camo then the "country couple" with me in a country dress and boots and him in a nice shirt and jeans and boots and probably a cowboy hat.

I was thinking maybe a nice sweater and jeans or leggings. Its fall themed so I am not sure what to wear exactly. Ive been on pinterest all morning looking at fall engagement shoots lol.

I think a nice sweater with jeans & your boots would look really cute with his flannel outfit. I’d be afraid that the flannels might clash.
Also another cute idea I’ve seen is getting a big blanket and wrapping it around the both of you for a pic or two...very cozy and autumnal

I agree I think a nice sweater is the way to go. Still on theme but it will age better than matchy matchy, and you can each stand out in your own way.
