I just had us wear some coordinating colors without trying to look to matchy

We wore (kind of) our wedding colors. I didn't want to be too matchy but I knew we wanted pastels so went with that.

Some photographers recommend that if one wears patterned clothing, the other should wear a solid color. If one wears a darker color, the other may wear something lighter for contrast.

Our photographers recommended NOT matching as matching clothing A) looks more like family portraits and B) can cause bodies to blend together since there isn’t any color separation. We wore colors that complemented each other and looked good in the various backdrops of our photo location.

I just picked something that I felt pretty in, then I pick a complimentary shirt for him. There is no right or wrong, just go with something that makes you feel special

Complimentary but not matching. I had some with no sweater but it was cold.

I just found a dress I felt pretty in, and FH wore a coordinating colored shirt. We also did a few pics in our jerseys because we are die hard fans. Comfort and fun was the goal for the shoot. Mission accomplished!
