Engagement photos — how late is too late

Girl! You show that sparkle off. I’d write something like “I got the best birthday gift from my boo and now that all the close friends and fam know, we want to share the news with the rest of the world...”

I agree with Kris! You haven't missed your chance. FH and I actually were engaged without a ring for about a month. We didn't formally post on our engagement until he surprised me with the ring! People will love to know, so don't worry

Is never too late! Have your heard of throw back Thursday? Show off your pictures! You don’t need an excuse but there’s plenty of excuses. 2 month engameniversary ??? Lol

I was almost engaged a month before I posted my ring on facebook.

We've been engaged 3.5 months, and our real engagement photos are being done this week.

Show them off!

I posted a picture of my ring right away, showing it off to everyone! We got engaged a few days before my 30th birthday in January and we are scheduled to do our engagement shoot in two weeks. I’m so excited!

Not to late at all. It was over a month before we made it "Facebook official" that we were engaged because we wanted to tell close friends and family first then life got in the way. As far as engagement photos, you can do those whenever you choose. FH and I got engaged April 2018 and just had our photos done last weekend. Partly because we couldn't agree on a photographer, then it was winter in Minnesota.

My sister is a photographer, and you can do your engagement shoot any time during your engagement! It's all about you two now! Enjoy your engagement, take as many pictures you want, and upload them all through out your engagement! ❤ Its never too late!

Our engagement photoshoot was 11 months after we got engaged. Anytime during the engagement is good! You do what works for the two of you!

I think you're supposed to do engagement pictures after it's properly sized. Sure post a pic with ring excitement day after you get engaged like you did. But I was eager to get engagement photos after I got it back sized. Plus since I'm deciding on photographers for the wedding it seems like they include engagement photos in their packages, meaning you may be able to do engagement photos whenever.

Facebook didn't find out we were engaged for 2.5 months. Engagement photos were taken 8-months after engagement. They won't be posted until 10-months after because I don't have them back yet. Your timeline is whatever works for you guys.

We got engaged in February. I don’t think it became facebook official until the end of April or beginning of May. Then we did our professional Engagement pics in the middle of May and so far no one has seen those yet except for everyone on wedding wire and we are getting married in August.

Yea I agree with PPs it’s never too late in my opinion. We were given two complimentary engagement photo shoots from our photographer and we still haven’t used it hahaha. We plan to use it soon...we are 3 months away from our wedding 🙈 soooo yea 😂😂😂 haha

I say it's never too late to show off your bling!

We waited a month and a half to make it "Facebook official" because there was a group of people I really wanted to tell in person and we had a get together already planned. My FSILs both constantly gave me sh** for that month and a half but respected my wishes not to post anything. You aren't obligated to post as soon as it happens, you get to do all of this on your time line.

Never too late. I probably won't have engagement photos until under a year away despite being engaged sense January.
I only have awkward shot of the ring because my grandmother gave it to me so I don't have any actual proposal photos
