Engagement Photo Shoot

I'm gonna hop on this bandwagon, I'm at a loss for engagement session outfits and we have our session on September 15th! I would definitely want to do like a casual knee length-ish dress as one of the outfits!

We went a little formal for our engagement shoot. I figured it will be one of the few times we do professional photos. I loved the experience! I was nervous and stiff at first but in the end I had so much fun and was very relaxed. I love our photographer and it was nice to get to know him and his style before the wedding.

I loved our outfits. I love the color red. We had our session in Lake Arrowhead the same place he proposed.

We did one dressy outfit and one casual outfit and our photos were taken at a downtown library...

Why not mix it up. Do some in a dress or skirt and some in maybe Jean's or even dress pants

My FH and I are getting ours done at a similar setting. I am now thinking about incorporating red. These look so beautiful!

We were planning on dressing pretty formal at first because we were going to do our shoot at a waterfall, but we changed it a week and a half before to the beach due to a conflict with our photographer. We live in Tennessee, and it was so fun to get these at the beach, though, since we're not close to any beaches! I went with a romper with red flowers on the front that had a mesh overskirt so it could blow in the wind.

Doing ours on 9.9 and these are our outfits. I am wearing wedge heels and he is wear brown dress shoes. Dress was inexpensive from Amazon with many color options.

This is awesome! I wasn’t sure when to do my engagement photos or how that works! I’m also getting married in 2021! (Haven’t even thought of an outfit yet lol)

Haha! I think the only reason why I already have an outfit planned is because I've read that you can wear fancy or just go with what you usually wear to make the pictures seem more "natural". To me, dresses and skirts are natural so it works in my favor! Hopefully you have time to figure out an outfit! Either way, you'll look amazing with your FH!

I've found the most amazing outfit options on amazon for a low price. It is definitely where I am getting my dress. I love this dress and the color!

We are taking pics on 9/8! I'm more of a jeans, shorts, pants type girl, but we are going kinda fancy for our pics since it's professional. I'm wearing 3 different outfits. A short white dress with gold heels, a medium length yellow dress with silverish/gold heels, and a long pink and blue summer type dress with brown wedges. He'll wear dress pants with a button up with dress shoes, khakis with a polo with sperrys, then probably khaki shorts with a different polo with same sperrys. I'm so excited lol we've had this postponed twice due to rain and there's no chance of rain this new date!

I wore a dress then switched to jeans and cute blouse. We did ours around the location he proposed and used his truck and American flag as props it turned out amazing

I got my dress online through Lulus. I have bought a couple dresses through them and always really love them. We were doing our pictures on the beach and personally I think the dress went perfectly with our location
