Engagement Photo outfits

I did a dress with a jean jacket (it was so chilly) and then jeans and a sweater for ours. The penguins jerseys were just thrown on over our second outfits and pertained to how we started talking.
I would think that you would want your daughter coordinated with whatever the two of you are wearing (color scheme, formality, etc)

Our wedding will be in the mountains in Fall so I wanted to incorporate that into our photos. We also included our dogs.

We coordinated without being too matchy. Where are you having photos done? Outside conditions may be a determining factor.

We did our pictures last Fall, but we got rain for 2 weeks, followed by a blizzard on Halloween 🤦🏼‍♀️ So the leaves were all knocked off the trees by the first weekend of November.

We wore outfits that we each already owned that complemented each other, but weren't too matchy. We each did one casual outfit and one dressy outfit.


Whatever you choose to wear, make sure you feel comfortable in it! You could all wear a similar color scheme - either all matching, or different shades of the same color, etc.

i wore this dress from fashionova. we have kids but didn't have them in our engagement shoot. but for your daughter, i would choose some thing that complements you or your finances outfit with out matching exactly, ie, same color but different shade
