Engagement party at our home

Hi everybody,
In 2 weeks we are expecting 100-110 people at our home for our engagement party. It will be mainly outside, like a graduation party "open house" style. We're renting a massive tent for our driveway and have tons of yard games out back. Anyways, we recently had brand new carpet installed in our downstairs and want to keep guests from tracking all over it and we would prefer keeping people out of our personal spaces. We do have a baby gate leading downstairs but I was wondering if I should make a nice sign direct people elsewhere. ? If so what should it say?! Our house is big, so it's not like people won't be able to come inside, we just want to limit it and not worry about our new carpet.
