We did hire an officiant, and I would highly suggest NOT using her! LOL There are tons of Officiants in the French Quarter that are fabulous though. We actually saw a wedding in Pirates Alley while we were there, and it was adorable. The couple did a celebratory absinthe cheer at the little absinthe bar in the alley. We treated our guests to a nighttime haunted walking tour through the FQ and it was everyone’s favorite activity. If you are into that sort of thing, I would be happy to send you the contact info to the tour guide we used – he was awesome!

for their elopement. They offer a Pirates Alley ceremony. For $395, they provide an officiant to perform the ceremony, 1 hour of photography during & after the ceremony, and a recording of the ceremony. She didn’t stick around long enough to give a review of how it went though.
