Do i invite both moms and stepsister to bridal showers

Hi ladies!

I will have two showers planned - one on my mom's side and one on my FMIL's side. I have 2 moms and I know that it's etiquette to invite my mom to my FMIL's side and vice versa. Do I also invite my stepmom and stepsister in both? Will this be too many showers for them to attend? My stepsister is also a bridesmaid and both moms get along great

Yes. Always err on the side of including, rather than excluding, when it comes to step families. They can decline attending but they will be hurt if you don't invite.

I think it’s really up to you. You could invite them but let them know they don’t need to feel obligated to go, but if they want to you would love to have them there!
We are also doing 2 showers and I was planning on inviting the bridesmaids to both but telling them this same thing. I don’t want them to feel like they have to be there, but if they want to come they can.
