DJ price- Wisconsin

Not sure where you are in Wisconsin, but to give you an idea if you're by the WI/IL line. Over the border in Libertyville I paid around 1300 for a DJ company out of Naperville.

I'm in Wisconsin too and when I was looking at DJs most of them ranged from $800-1500.

I'd say probably on the low side of my area; 1200 or so.

Price should not b e the guiding principal when you pick your key vendors, honestly. Saving 400 bucks on a dj by hiring a crappy, unprofessional one....saving 200.00 on a crappy boring officiant...yes, it all adds up, but at what cost to the event?

Ideally, you'll do this once. I'd totally skip a lot of the little non-vital stuff to hire the best pros you can.

$2500, Washington DC (but price also includes uplighting and wireless mics for the ceremony and reception).

I'm in Wisconsin too and, like @Choua, most ranged from $800-$1500. It also depends on how many hours you're booking them for, and if you're getting extras, like uplighting or having them play during the ceremony.

I think it really depends where you are. I am in central WI and are paying a lot more, but we are having him play guitar and sing during the ceremony, then DJ from 4pm-midnight (during cocktail hour-end). We are also having a lot of extra lighting, some other cool things. We are paying around $2500.

But they will also be coordinating the day of. It was part of the package. They will help from the start of the day to the end with transitions between spaces and so on.

Wi Bride here. We are paying $850 after a Friday & Military/VA discount. I'd say most I've been seeing for a Saturday wedding starts around $1,300.
