Hey guys! I am getting engagement pictures done in a couple weeks and need suggestions from other Milwaukee area people of a good place to get them done! We are in Waukesha.

I'm kind of trying to find a place that you don't need a photography permit to do so, but I'm open to getting one. I wanted something with water, but Milwaukee lakefront seems like it may be crowded.

Hey, Alicia! Welcome to WeddingWire and congratulations!
I haven't been to Milwaukee in quite some time, but I recall (/lowkey looked at a map and saw) a good stretch of the city is along the water! Are you open to doing an urban shoot on the boardwalk? Do you have a photographer? If so, maybe they have some suggestions?

A really neat place is Paradise Springs in Eagle. I know you can find more information on the Wisconsin DNR website. I don't know of any required permits.

We went to the shops of Greendale for ours. There's a regular park nearby, a bridge with a creek, a gazebo, and nice brick buildings and ivy walls if you're into that. And no need for a photography permit.
