FH just asked if he could dance with my mother. His mother passed away almost 20 years ago. I thought it was such a sweet gesture. I will dance with both my dad and my step father. I had always thought we'd skip it all together since his parents are gone. So excited!!

That is so sweet. My FH will be dancing with my mom as well his parents are alive but, unfortunately wont be joining us, his Dad lives in Puerto Rico and cannot travel due to his health & his mom is in an assisted living facility and doesn't do well away from there for more than a short drive to "get out".
