Couples getting married on Aug 3, 2019 in Oregon

Hi Shawna, we're so happy to have you here on WeddingWire with us! How did you choose your date? Did you get down to planning right away after you became engaged?

Within a few days of getting engaged the planning had started we figured that this August was too soon so we went for next August that way we'd have time to plan. We wanted to ensure that the weather was nice so later in this summer was our best option which is why we came up with August we chose the third as it is the first week and further away from school starting in the beginning of September in the weekend after the 3rd is my uncle's birthday so we could not do it that day.

Sounds like your date fits all your requirements! And you have a good amount of time to plan everything without feeling too overwhelmed. What are you going to work on booking first?
