Bridal Shower Rsvps

My FSIL took care of the RSVP's for mine and she said she got a bunch right away but then the remainder of them came in between 1-2 weeks prior.

My sister was in charge and she didn’t get many rsvps until the day of deadline or after. She had to make a few phone calls. It’s interesting that the same people who took long to rsvp for the shower are the same ones who I haven’t received an rsvp for the wedding.

My sister (MOH) was also in charge of shower RSVPs. We had about 70 people invited. A lottttt of people were slow to respond or didn’t respond at all 😑 And a bunch RSVPd the day of the deadline or the day AFTER. Ugh. And one of FHs cousins (who’s sister is one of my BM so I had already asked her if the sister and her mom were coming because they didn’t respond) literally texted FH a week and a half after the RSVP deadline to tell him she was coming. Like oooookay then. Hang in there, you still have 2 weeks for people to respond!

Yes my MOH/Sister in Law is planning mine and she got a handful right away and then they trickled in closer to the rsvp deadline. There were about 10 people we had to reach out to and just ask. It was a super simple text and they all ended up rsvping yes. A few actually thought that someone else had RSVPd for them lol. It wasn’t as stressful as I expected to have to chase people down. And I was pleasantly surprised that of the 35 invited 31 are coming! Can’t wait for next weekend ❤️

Our RSVp's for the shower were do today. Our shower is next Saturday. Out of the 61 people invited, we still need to hear from 16 people. Its frustrating to say the least. I would give it one more week and then start calling or texting to get firm answers.
