I'm planning on a night out with my girls and he's planning on a night out with the guys! We want separate parties mostly for the sake of tradition

Nice Summerbride77, what made you guys choose different weekends?

We are coincidentally doing the same weekend but it was not intentional. The weekend the guys picked ended up being the only weekend that worked for all my girls as well.

Yes, ours will be separate. Mine is Sept 5-9 and his isn’t even planned yet!

We are doing different separate bachlorette/bachlor parties on different weekends. We mainly wanted them different weekends because we have a dog and didnt want to board her. Also we have married couple friends attending our parties and thought it would be easier to do different weekends for them since they have babies.

We are going both going to Vegas but at different times. Mine is the end of June (early I know but we have so much going on close to the wedding and I can't stand the thought of being gone another weekend that close). I have 2 teachers so summer worked best for them even though it will be insanely hot while we are there. MOH is planning everything (she is a huge planner) and I am in the dark about everything. I know when my flight is and I know we are staying off strip at an AirB&B, other than that I know nothing.

FH is going in late August/early September (cause you know... that's how boys plan) since they have to work around babies being born. Seriously, all of his friends have gotten their girls prego (no always on purpose) or had a baby in the last year! I know they are planning on golfing but that is all I know and that is all I will know for at least 5 years.

We are doing separate parties. FH's dad and best man planned his, and my MOH planned mine. FH is going to Atlantic City (we're in NJ) in June and I have no idea when/where my bachelorette is, as it's a surprise.

It's more normal to have separate parties. Not saying there is anything wrong with doing joint parties. Me and my FH are having ours separate. One week apart.

Ours were both in May, but on different weekends!

Ours will both be in September but one weekend apart. We only picked different weekends so we didn't have to worry about a dog sitter since one of us will be home each weekend. I'm going to San Diego and he's going to Vegas the following week.
