Did anyone else spend the night before your wedding alone?

I think it's a lovely idea and I fully support it. Will be doing the same!

Our hotels ended up overlapping so we didn't have to worry about not being able to check in on time for the hotel we wanted the weekend of so we ended up each staying in a different hotel. I was happy we did it in the end so I could really get ready without him seeing. We did have to call each other throughout the day to see where the other one was though because most of his stuff was in the room I stayed in and he finished getting ready there. It was nerve wracking walking around a hotel in Vegas dodging DH when I knew he was in the same building lol. Thankfully it all worked out.

Not strange at all. I'm spending the night before my wedding alone. I hope it allows me time to actually get some rest and relax before the makeup and hair starts flying. Your experience is my goal

Not at all, i did the samething. It was more “me time” before the big day.

Following this post, want to see what others say. I am thinking about spending the night before the wedding with my MOH. I don't want to see the groom until I am walking down the aisle, but I don't want to be completely alone the night before!

Not weird at all! That was my plan too, but H and I ended up deciding to stay together instead.

I stayed alone, and it was great! My husband and I parted ways after the welcome dinner - he went to his mom's house, and I went to my room on the venue property. I did some relaxing bathing, did my hair, and slept great. I got up in the morning, went to get my nails done and then hung out until my bridal party came at noon. It was relaxing and gave myself time to think and prepare and my BP and I still had plenty of time to chat, drink, and laugh before the wedding.

I haven’t thought of it but sounds like a great idea, I was going to spend it with my sisters. Like a low key, sleep early kind of night

Me & the FH are planning on spending the night before together too... Glad i'm not the only one

I don’t think it is. I want to spend the night before my wedding by myself too. You need some me time before your day! After all the stress of planning and then the stress the day of, it’s good to take a little break in between. Besides, I think being away from your fiancé the night before makes the day of seem that much more special.

My fiancé and I shared a suite, except for the night before the wedding. He got his own room and I was alone. I really appreciated the time alone. It ha e me time to absorb everything that was about to happen.

Love this as an introvert who draws energy from some good ole "me time." Since my ceremony reception space does not have a formal place for me to get ready, you just gave me an excellent idea...I will stay at the same hotel that we plan to spend our wedding night in and will get ready there! THANK YOU!!! It's all about you, so don't worry what others think. Its a great time to reflect and mentally prepare for the most amazing day of your life.

It sounds like a great idea! It’s relaxing and that’s what you want the night before your wedding. Do what works for you!

I don't think I'll have the opportunity to spend the night alone, since both BMs are from out of town and FH is staying at our place. But I am jealous!

I'm staying with some bridesmaids because I would not be able to be alone the night before. I will need them there to calm me. But I say that sounds AMAZING! As long as you enjoyed it that's all that matters
