I received a notification that there are 64 couples getting married on our date - 3/21/20 - in the DC area. We’ve selected The Grand Ballroom at The George Washington Hotel in Winchester, VA.

Where are you having yours and how far along are you in the planning? Looking forward to reading about your weddings!

Hi KPAR! I bet your date twins are on their way! In the meantime, you can see how others are doing in their planning in the 2020 wedding 👰🏽 discussion. Who knows, you might even run into a date twin there!
You're almost a year away from your wedding and it's awesome that you have a venue! The GW hotel is pretty great! Have you got any other vendors booked?

I'm getting married near Winchester in May 2020. Would love to hear if you are using vendors out there. We live in DC but I'm sure local vendors know that area better and are probably not as expensive!! Thanks!

We haven’t gotten very far in selecting vendors yet but I can share when we have chosen them. What venue did you choose?

Historic Rosemont Manor in Berryville. They are having a wedding expo there on April 14 with local vendors. Plan to start my research then. Tickets are only $10!

Rosemont is beautiful and that expo was great! We even won one of the prizes. We have a lot of vendor consultations set up for the next few weeks.

We're almost twins! We will be spending our wedding night at The George Washington. It's a beautiful hotel! I'm getting married 3/14/20 at Historic Jordan Springs. Would love to hear who everyone is choosing as vendors. I have a photographer, rehearsal dinner venue, and a DJ but could use a recommendation for flowers.

Bluebells in Winchester was recommended to us by our DJ and bakery. We have a consultation scheduled in August.
