Hi ladies, I am having my wedding August 2019 in Muncie IN, but I live in New Mexico and I was wondering what is the weather like in the summer since I will be having a backyard wedding and I want to make sure my guests are comfortable.

Hi! I’m getting married 8/18/19! I too am having an outdoor ceremony. Around this time it usually hot however, since it’s Indiana it could def rain.

Judging by the weather sites I read through, you're looking at low to mid 80's. What time of day will your ceremony and reception be? Do you plan on having a tent?

Good Ole Muncie! I went to Ball State and I can tell you the weather is pretty unpredictable nearly all year round. August is usually pretty hot, but anything can happen! I'm sure you already have your venue, but Minnetrista is a beautiful place in Muncie to have either a reception or ceremony if you need a backup outdoor location!
