I was equally confused about this, but I'm seeing it more and more, so I think "nope." My mom still wants to throw me a bridal shower, and our friends are throwing us a small wedding get together this Saturday because they want to celebrate our wedding. Really we know it's just an excuse for them to get away from their kids and drink, but hey whatever, ha!

A friend of ours we haven't seen in several months told me congrulations the other day and I asked huh for what? he said your wedding, and I was like oohhhhh yeaaa....ha!

In my mind it's kind of all over with but everyone else is still getting used to it. It's been 4 months since we got married.
