Cancun vs. Cabo for bach trip

Cabo is usually more expensive to travel to than Cancun, and most Cabo resorts do not let you get in the ocean because the tide is too extreme. There's a few that you can get into the water, but they tend to be $$$. You can still go on boats, but you will not be able to longue on the beach/ocean like you can in Cancun. Personally, I prefer Cancun/Playa over Cabo any day, so much so that I am getting married in Cancun!

All inclusive probably will not have the villa style, but check out Finest/Excellence. Their Jamaica location has villas that can have 4 people I think. Secrets Golf Spa & Resort is also INCREDIBLY nice but idk about the villas.

I would choose a resort over a house any day for a couple of reasons: safety, free food and drinks, bars and beaches are already on "campus", and so forth. It depends what you want out of your stay, but as a group of women I would feel much safer within the walls of a resort.

I have never been to a bach at either location but I have vacationed in Cancun/Playa 4x and Cabo once. Cabo beaches not being accessible was a deal breaker for me, BUT the "downtown" area is fun for shopping/touristy things. Cancun is better for beaching/clubbing, and you can boat over to Isla Mujeres which is a gorgeous island about a 30 minute boat ride from Cancun.

If you're wanting to do like, snorkeling, catamarans, and things of that nature, I'd pick Cancun. Fishing, chilling at the pool, and touristy shopping I'd say Cabo!

I tend to think Cancun over Cabo, because there's more to do in the area.

What is each person's budget? Who is organizing the party for you? They could check and see if there's a villa type accommodation. Those tend to be cheaper than hotels.

For a bach party, I recommend Cancun. I went on a girls trip there last year and it was so much fun. We stayed at Magestic Elegance in Costa Mujeres, all-inclusive. I do think all-inclusive is the way to go, even if you have to get a few rooms. We also did a catamaran ride to a little island…definitely worth checking out since you want a boat day. I didn’t do so well bc I get sea sick, but I digress…lol Everyone else loved it. This was our room (below). I highly suggest getting this one. There was a big group of us and everyone ended up hanging out here.
