Cancelled Bridal Shower

Daughter had an "old fashioned sleepover" with her BMs two nights before the wedding here at our family home. They live all over the country now, but for a few hours that evening, they laughed hysterically -- just like they did 10+ years ago as teenagers.... They had a blast and daughter loved it (they were, however, sound asleep by 9:30 pm, thanks to jetlag and more adult schedules/responsibilities ). Have fun!

Sounds like fun! I’m not having a bridal shower. What I really want is a bachelorette/lingerie party with only 10 other ladies. I don’t do the bar thing so we’re going to a place where we can make our own candles, have a nice dinner (while the candles cool), have my lingerie party while having dessert & pick up our candles afterwards. I’ll probably give my bridesmaids their gift bags at that time too.
