Hey guys,

I am trying to decide if I should wait on buying bridesmaids gifts or not. I am getting married June 20th 2020. I know with all of the things going on right now it is very uncertain if the wedding will happen. As of right now we are taking it day by day. As one of the gifts for my bridesmaids I am getting robes for us to take pictures in while we get ready. These are pretty expensive and I really don’t want to waste money in such difficult times. I know if I don’t order soon it will be to late if things go the way I hope. Any advice?!

You could buy them and if you have to postpone your wedding then just use then at a later time. Robes don't normally have a date on them so you should be fine.

I agree with pp that you can buy them and even gift it to them after if anything, they’re general enough where they’ll understand if you couldn’t get it in time

Hi Katie,
How thoughtful of you to order robes for your BMs! "Getting ready" photos of the wedding party in matching/coordinating clothing are so fun and sweet IMO.
I agree with the previous responses. The robes will make great gifts--no matter when you give them to your nearest and dearest friends. If you have room to store the items for a bit, then ordering them now might be an easy way to cross a task off your to-do list.
