So I did something a little different ... I decided to make my bridesmaids proposal a bit more of an "occasion". I know most people send a box or a card, or verbally ask for someone to be their bridesmaid. I decided to decorate and throw a little party for my future bridesmaids ... I mean they do have to hold my dress & help me pee! lol! Also my bridesmaids are my two closest friends, my sister & BFF, & I live out of state. I gave my mom a bottle with a label asking her to walk me down the aisle, since my dad passed away when I was young. So I thought I'd do something different and special. Hope you guys like it, I was pretty proud of my decorations lol.
I gave them a bottle of wine, a wine glass, a wine stopper, & a luggage tag (they have to travel lol) with a bag to carry it in that says "Somebody in Arizona loves me" lol.
The crystal punch bowl was given to my mother as wedding gift, but she never ended up using it. So I decided to use it for the bridesmaids proposal party. The punch was a rose punch, and we had make your own pita pizza's for dinner. Just a little extra wedding fun thing I decided to do. Totally unnecessary, but fun!
Has anyone else done anything like this?
