Bridal shower

I would not considering the theme. I would think adults only but I am not a fan of drinking with kids present.

If there aren't any other kids there for her to play with, I would just wonder how much fun she would actually find it? At that age, I could see her getting bored pretty quickly with all of the usual shower activities and being surrounded by adults. I totally understand why you want to include her and have the girlie bonding time, but if she bores easily in adult settings I would definitely reconsider.

I think Stacey has a great point! Would it be fun for your 5 year old?

I wouldn’t think that theme would be particularly appropriate for her, but I also agree with Stacey about how fun it would seem for your daughter with no other kids to play with. Also who would she know at the shower? I didn’t like being in large groups of strangers. I would’ve been stuck up my mom’s butt and she wouldn’t have been able to accomplish much of what she wanted or been able to enjoy herself or her guests.
