Bridal shower?

I'll be attending a shower for a bride next month who is having a caeremony this year and party next year. I won't be invited to this year's ceremony. I'm excited to celebrate with her!

We are in this situation too, except we postponed the whole thing. I don't know what would be better. I kind of think it would be better to have an outdoor shower this summer than cram everyone inside a house in February/March...but my cousin offered it in the first place, so we will see what she wants to do.

I think it’s OK to keep it but personally I think I’d prefer to postpone it also.

That would be up to you on what you would prefer. I am not having a bridal shower. I am having my bachelorette party next weekend for our September wedding.

Mine happened this year. To me it made more sense to have the shower before we get married as opposed to before we celebrate it with everyone. My shower did have to change from the way it was originally planned. It was postponed by about a month, and it was a drive-through/zoom shower instead of a more typical party.
