Bridal shower

I loved my bridal shower. I had a lot of fun. But I understand it's also a ton of attention and mingling you have to do

I’m not a big fan of being the center of attention, so I’m sure I’ll be feeling similar when it’s my turn. I hope you have a good time!

My bridal shower is a little less than a week away and I’m excitedly nervous. I’m sure it’ll be beautiful my MOH (my sisters) and my 2 best friends are awesome and creative. I can’t wait to see what they have planned.

I feel like that too. Getting gifts gives me anxiety and I don't like everyone staring at me. It's a lovely tradition and people are excited for you. Do your best to relax and enjoy it but know your not alone in having those feelings.

We had a couples shower this weekend. I feel the same way about attention so our families planned basically a cookout in the back yard. People did bring gifts, we did not do a big opening, though. A few people asked us to open theirs before they left, and we did those ones inside, away from the crowd. Worked perfectly!

I was SO nervous for mine! I hate having the attention on me! It actually turned out to be an amazing time, I did have a moment of being a little overwhelmed and one of my BMs checked in and I regathered myself! Make sure you have someone like that to check in on you! It can be overwhelming but really try your best to enjoy YOUR day!

Just try to enjoy it! I finally got the date of my shower out of my sister who is my MOH, I’m not one for surprises. I like to have my hair & make up done dresses appropriately ect

I totally understand. My bridal shower is in 25 days and I'm already feeling nervous. I don't really like being the center of attention, but I guess that's one thing I gotta get used to as the bride to be lol

I didn't hate receiving gifts, I just thought it was awkward opening them in front of everyone. But my shower was around 3 hours and gift opening was like 20 minutes at most (I rushed through it) so it wasn't that bad!
