Bridal Shower with Covid Restrictions

Kyrie, on February 19, 2021 at 2:29 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 3

My Bridal Party, myself and my mom are discussing how to plan my bridal shower. In PA we have some strict guidelines for indoor venues and some outdoor ones here. None of us have been to or apart of virtual events and are unsure of if its possible and appreciated and so on.

Any Ideas or how you guys went about it?

Hi Kyrie! I am in PA as well! I had a small shower due to covid with moms, a few aunts, and a bridesmaid and Man of Honor. We wrote masks and took photos quickly without masks afterwards. I had a blast!!! We sat by household as much as possible and kept it to 2 hours. I didn’t hug anyone but thanked them for coming just the same. It was held Sunday before our wedding with very small group. I loved it!! It was beautiful and sweet 🌸 I’ve been to a lovely shower for a friend who had a backyard shower with a white tent at her mom’s house. Really pretty!! Good luck ❤️

Hello! I attended a bridal shower with covid restrictions last year. It was for my FH's cousin and what they did was they had a car parade for the start of the shower so that people who didn't want to stay could feel take part in the celebration. Then those that wanted to stay could come in, but everyone wore masks (except while eating/drinking) and things were set 6 feet apart. Those who just wanted to pop in and say hello got a bag of food to take with them. I was one of those people, I wanted to see the bride because she lived out of state but didn't want to stay because my dad was high risk and I was trying to limit my contact at the time. She did it at her mother's house and they set up tables both inside the garage and outside in the yard to allow for more space. Indoor can be a little trickier, but you could always do something outdoors with heaters if it's still cool outside.
