Bridal Shower Location Dilemma

I’m looking for some help with figuring out where to have my bridal shower. I currently live in the DFW area, but was going to have my bridal shower in Kansas City, MO as my mother lived there and was really sick and likely couldn’t travel for my wedding. Unfortunately, my mom just passed away and now I’m not even sure that I want to have a shower anymore. I just don’t think it’ll be the same without her there.


However, my aunts and MOH’s are really pushing me to make a decision on when and where I’d like to have my shower now as they still really want to throw one for me and think I’ll regret not having one. So, I’m struggling with whether to have it in KC (where one of my aunts, gma, and BM lives), my hometown St. Louis (where my Man of Honor, another BM and multiple friends live), or just have it here in DFW where I live (as well as my Matron of Honor and another BM). I just want to minimize everyone’s travel as most will be traveling for my wedding in October. My bridal party is also throwing me a bachelorette which will require travel for most of them. I’m just confused and overwhelmed. Any suggestions?
