Bridal Shower Food?!

Katie, on August 5, 2020 at 12:47 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 11
Hello,

I was wondering what types of food you severed at your bridal shower or what you are planning to serve?! Our shower is on Saturday from 2-4. I really want everyone to have a great time and serve some sort of cocktail or mimosas. What do you recommend serving with that?!
Thanks Smiley smile

You could do finger foods! Like mini sandwiches, fruits, chicken, a pasta salad etc.

For mine, we had sandwhich platters from a local deli, a fruit platter, cheese and crackers, mimosas, other soft drinks/water, and a cookie platter.

Like all the previous comments suggested, sandwiches are easy to feed a group! Pasta is also great for a group. Are you having a specific theme for the event? If so, you could also select food options that go with the theme.

You can serve anything. Costco has platters of sandwiches and salads. They also have frozen appetizers that can be heated. Local restaurant catering is also an option.
    Have nonalcoholic beverages as well.

Depends. You can do lunch theme or brunch theme and choose from that. Or a mix. I think sandwiches are good but some sweets. I am having cake at mine and my MOH wanted to do dessert shooters. I know I wanna have mini scones lol. Also we are doing mimosas if you want some alcohol. You cannot go wrong with fruit trays, veggie trays and cheese and cracker platters.

We did bbq meatballs and bbq lil smokies with a veggie tray and some other snack foods, and cupcakes! I’m not a sandwich person at all so this was the perfect solution.

We did brunch and bubbly. We had mimosas with a few different juice options. We also had sandwiches, an egg bake, sausage links, French toast, fruit, and donuts. And cupcakes for dessert.

My shower is at Bravo’s Italian restaurant, so we are having salad, lobster bisque, seasonal vegetables, two types of pasta, lasagna, and cupcakes. If you are thinking mimosas, you could do brunch— Belgian waffles, eggs, bacon, salad, sandwiches, fruit salad, etc.

One of my mom's friends hosted my shower and we had chips and guac, spinach artichoke dip, chicken salad sandwiches, veggie skewers, fruit skewers, cupcakes, and margaritas (my absolute favorite). She did all the food so it was pre portioned so that it could be grab and go and it was great

Another vote for finger sandwiches and fruit. Maybe scones, croissants or muffins? Oooh, deviled eggs! And bubbly for sure. Maybe a mimosa bar and coffee bar.
