Are you planning/hosting a shower for someone else, or is this for your own bridal shower? If it's for your own shower, then you can sit back and relax because these are things that the host(s) takes care of. The host will probably ask you for a guest list and might ask your opinion about what kind of food you'd like, but there shouldn't really be any planning on your part

You can tie it to a theme. For instance we are doing a luau bridal shower for my bff so the food is like Hawaiian bbq
