Just posting to rant, really.
Had my bridal shower Saturday. My mom, godmother, and friend went all out with decorating and planning.
Minus the 4 of us, only 4 people came. My mom invited over 30. These included my 9 cousins that live within 10 miles of where it was hosted, my 5 aunts, most of whom live within 10 miles, and various other people. Half of the people never responded to my mom reaching out to confirm after the RSVP deadline. Many of them said they'd be there and didn't show.
Of the people who came, 3 people wore white too, which I found odd.
While my mom was really upset, I'm just really disappointed.
And then it ties into wedding anxiety of fearing no one is coming to the wedding.
