Bridal shower disappointment

Hi ! I'm so sorry it happened to you... Why didn't they come ? They couldn't or just found an excuse...?

Sorry that happened to you, did they give any reasons? Maybe the Covid numbers played a part?

I'm sorry this happened. Did you have it outside and ended up with bad weather?

I feel like this happened with my actual wedding. Granted Covid was a factor, but the majority of guests who came were my husband's friends, and I only had two friends travel any significant distance (requiring an overnight stay) to attend. We mostly had a great event, but I am still really hurt that many of the people I considered my closest friends didn't prioritize being there for my wedding.

So for my bridal shower most of my husband's family attend, but hardly anyone in my family attended. Also hardly any of either of our friends attend so I was disappointed. However, it was also a bit of a distance from both since our wedding and therefore the shower were halfway between both families since my family/friends are from PA and his are from NJ.

AW, I'm sorry. Now is a really hard time to have gatherings unfortunately. I understand why you're hurt. Hugs to you.

I am sorry this happened. I would be hurt, too. Do you know why there was such a low turnout? Hopefully, your wedding day will be celebrated with all the people you love

My bridal shower was this past Sunday and a lot of people said yes then canceled last min. It honestly annoyed me to much since catered food isn't cheap. I get life happens but canceling day before is extra annoying.
