This coming weekend is my BEACHLORETTE party!!! We are headed to St Petersburg/Clearwater/ Siesta Key area. We are staying at Shepards Resort.

Does anyone have suggestions, insider tips?

I'm a fitness instructor and also looking for a great local HIIT gym in the area too. Always love trying out local gyms.

Also I read it's only about a 25 min lyft ride from the Tampa airport. Accurate?

I'm getting so excited!!!!

    I live near siesta key but looove Clearwater! Clearwater and St Pete have a more party vibe and much more touristy things do than siesta key. Siesta key is about an hours drive from Clearwater. But siesta key is such a beautiful beach with clear blue water ( when theres
    no red tide ) and baby power white sand. You’ll have fun anywhere you go. And looks like the hurricane will miss the west coast all together! Have fun !

    It’s an algae that can turn the water a dark color. But I haven’t heard of there being any red tide lately.

    I would say it’s more like 30-40 mins from the airport.

    I would recommend going to Frenchy’s Rockaway Grille, there’s a few locations so go to the one that’s right on the beach, it’s the best one.

    shepherd’s also has a night club which is popular.

    They have lots of boat tours, dolphin sighting, you can do jet skis, parasailing, sunset cruise.

    I don’t know about local gyms there though but I am sure they have some.

    Also they have a free trolley you can take advantage of so you don’t always have to pay for an Uber or Lyft just to get around to different parts, I’m sure the resort will tell you about it.

    The aquarium is cool too because they have the Dolphin from Dolphins Tale there.
