I am so excited to share my pictures with you from my bridal (brunch) shower!
I originally did not want a bridal shower. However, my MOH (my God-sister) wanted to throw me one since I became engaged so I obliged and let her plan it. I'm so happy she did; with the help of my mom and her mom! I felt so much love in the room from all the ladies who were invited. The shower was more of a brunch held in a private room at a local restaurant. I don't like being the center of attention so it was great that it was more informal and everyone was able to talk among themselves at their tables.
I was a little discouraged because I thought since my fiance and I don't have a registry that I would not be able to have a shower; I've seen that a lot on these forums. I'm glad this wasn't the case. I received a LOT of gift cards (Amazon, DSW, Express, Sephora, Visa/Amex), cash, and some physical gifts (lingerie and honeymoon attire).
The best part of the afternoon was everyone going around and introducing themselves. Each person stated their name, relation to me, and gave words of wisdom/congratulations. There were definitely some tears flowing during this time!
I'm looking forward to celebrating my wedding day with everyone who attended my shower! 57 days left until the big day!
