I am so excited to share my photos with you all! I loved being on these forums during my planning process and I had alot of fun chatting with other brides!
After changing my mind 100 times, we landed on a Friday lunch wedding for our immediate families only at a local casino here in San Diego. Our guest count was 30 and included our nieces and nephews and grandparents. Here is a breakdown of vendors-
Dress- BHLDN Julia $177. I highly recommend BHLDN for budget brides. My dress was originally $400, but they let me purchased the floor sample for a very discounted price and it was in perfect condition. I shopped at the location in Carlsbad, Ca and had a wonderful experience.
Suit- Jos A Bank $1200. We went all out for my husband and did the custom reserve suit. It was his first time ever purchasing a suit and we loved it. I hope every man treats himself to a custom suit for his special day. We shopped the Carlsbad Ca location with Sean and Maliki. Awesome people.
Alterations- Style Cleaners & Alterations $85. This included the fitting and spot cleaning/pressing. Great value and amazing people! If you're looking for bridal alterations in San Diego I highly recommend. They are located in Santee.
Hair- Style Lounge Salon $300. I styled my own hair for the wedding, but I got highlights and color with Katie at Style Lounge the week prior. She is a God send! She got my hair bridal ready and it looked perfect. They're located in the Gaslamp.
Make Up- Lacie Pence $700. This included full glam on myself and 3 ladies, trial, and travel fee. She is AMAZING. I can't recommend her enough. I decided last minute to get make up done and I was so happy I did. It just made the day easier not to have to pack up all my make up and bring it to the hotel. Venue- Sycuan Casino Resort $5400. This resort is brand new and absolutely beautiful! This price included the reception room, tables, chairs, linens, cocktail food, lunch buffet, private bar, staff, the works!! This pencils out to about $190 per person, which is high, but the quality of everything from the chairs to the linens is high class all the way. That was important to me. Even the china and cutlery is gorgeous. My family raved about the beautiful resort and nobody wanted to leave.
Photography- Sarah Williams This Rad Love Photography $3,500. I was so fortunate to have this gifted to us, but on her website I believe she is about $3,500. She is amazing! She has over 10 years experience shooting weddings and it shows. During our consultation, I said it was important to me for the pictures to not be heavily filtered or "beige" looking. ALL my photos came back displaying the truest colors and they are gorgeous. She captured everyone and I will cherish these forever. She was SO fast as well, my entire gallery was ready in 4 weeks. AMAZING!
Videographer- Untethered Together $1000. I found this team on Wedding Wire and I am so thankful they were available on my day. They were the nicest people and worked so hard for me to have an incredible video. With such a small budget and guest list, it was important to have a video to share with everyone that I love but couldn't have there with us. They also had an extremely quick turnaround. If you are in San Diego, please hire them! You wont regret it.
Decor & Flowers - All DIY approx. $600. I purchased from dollar tree, walmart, and my local wholesale flower shop. My flower vases were $2 plastic vases and with a little spray paint, they looked so chic! If anyone has any questions about it message me. I had alot of fun and I think they turned out great.
