We did a first touch, which I knew I wanted but almost skipped due to the whole late thing. I’m so glad my amazing photographer insisted that we do it!! It was one of my favorite moments of the entire day, and that’s when I got nervous/excited, when it because actually real that we were getting married!
Our boss at the ambulance service we met at loaned us an AMBULANCE as our day of limo, and my girls and I arrived in style!! We had so much fun taking photos with all of our close coworkers and friends with it!!
My son walked me down the aisle, and we had a part in our ceremony right near the beginning to include our three kids and the official joining of our families as one, which is already one of my favorite photos of the day!
All of our guests AND our vendors all kept saying how amazing everything was, and most said it was the most fun they had ever had at a wedding!!!
The food was delicious, our homemade cakes that my MOH/SIL/friend and I all made the Thursday before were a hit, the DJ was AMAZING and kept the party rocking and dancing the entire time, my DOC was on top of everything and made sure we kept things moving, my photographers were more fantastic than I could have imagined and we hit it off like old friends!! Our kids were PERFECT, and they all had a blast too! My son even surprised me with some awesome moves on the dance floor that he said he had been practicing just for that day!!
We ended the day on our local commons (downtown strip) bar hopping at all our favorite locations with our closest and best friends, still dressed in our wedding clothes!! We felt like celebrities!!
Overall, it was amazing!! I couldn’t have asked for anything to have gone any differently or any better. It was exactly how I planned, and more. We are still on a happily newly married high and cannot wait for our honeymoon in 3 weeks!!!!
