6. make sure you wear waterproof everything! even with waterproof, i still had to be careful not to cry my makeup off!7. Try to spend a minute by yourself. I wish I could have had just a minute to myself to breathe and soak in the moment.8. Put your foot down on things that are important to you. I spent quite a bit of time and effort on our backdrop only to be told it wouldn't work. I put my foot down and told them to find a way to make it work and they did, which made me so happy cuz it added the romantic feel I was hoping for and tbh, it made for gorgeous photos! Everything else became a "meh" for me and I gave the final say to whoever was putting up decor. 9. Have some cake. Lucky for us, we had a lot left over and were able to get some before we left for our honeymoon. 10. Don't forget to have a great time with your friends and family and of course your new husband/wife! This was one of the most special days and I am so grateful for the ones that were able to come.
