Bachelorette party

Futuremrsm, on July 30, 2020 at 2:44 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 5
So our wedding is coming up on October 17th. As of right now it looks like my venue will still be holding our reception, worst case we will just have part of it outside.

So my MOH original plan for my bachelorette party was to rent an air bnb up in the mountains for a weekend and do things like wineries and other activities. The problem is a lot of places are closed or won't take large groups. We can't really resort to a night out of drinking either because almost no bars near us are open and we have no idea when that will change. Any suggestions or ideas of what you're doing to have a fun bachelorette during a pandemic?

How big is your bachelorette party going to be? Most aren't bigger than 10 - 14 people and most states have restrictions larger than 20. I think you could still do all that you initially planned, bars are open just closing early and take advantage of that and do a good old fashioned Girls Sleepover...

If you guys can’t go out and the other possibility is bringing things in for instance there’s a ton of subscriptions that send you wine tastings to do at home. Or you can even just buy a bunch of ones and do it that way

If going out somewhere isnt an option, maybe you can look into hiring a chef to come cook a special for you and your girls or hire a bartender for the night. Put on a some music and have your own private nightclub

    Hey!

I’m also a 10.17.2020 bride! We are still set to be married that day so bachelorette party and other wedding festivities are a go. I’m in Michigan where our governor has not allowed more than 10 people to gather inside, and as of yesterday, stopped indoor service at bars. So for my bachelorette party, my MOH is still planning on renting an Airbnb for like 10-12 of us and we’re just gonna hang out at the house and drink, game nights, bonfires, in home spa day etc. Its a fiesta theme so we’re gonna have margaritas, tequila, and different margarita flavored Jell-O shots, so we probably shouldn’t be driving anywhere anyway lol. Were still going away for a weekend and renting a house, so even if we can’t go bar hopping or explore the town, it’s still a fun weekend getaway with all my girls! Cheers, and hope everything works out. I’m sure whatever you do will be fun!

We just went camping for my friends bachelorette party and went tubing down the river. It was so much fun and we got to talk a lot more than if we went out! For mine we are going to a winery and then using the water park at a hotel and having a sleepover
