Bachelorette party

Sarah, on October 27, 2019 at 2:50 PM Posted in Parties and Events 2 25
So my friends and I are not real party type of people. So we won’t be doing the “typical” bachelorette party. If anyone is like me and you did not do the typical bachelorette party or if you are planning on a different type of one. I need ideas, for an affordable and fun bachelorette party that does not really involve drinking or strippers. My friends and I are more introverts.

My friends and I are all pretty low-key too. A board game night is inexpensive and fun! Or a spa day. If you can swing a little more, I’m planning a weekend getaway in the mountains for us—hiking, river tubing, bonfires, etc.

My Matron & Maid of Honor are planning everything for my bachelorette trip, but I told them the one thing I wanted to do was an aerial yoga class! It looks so fun! Other options: yoga class, spa day, Escape game (we did this for my Matron of Honor’s bachelorette), and a pool day.

You could do a paint and sip party, pottery painting, ax throwing, a spa day, dinner and a movie, Dave and Busters or another arcade

I’m more of an introvert too. My plan is a nice meal out and then a friend’s house for dessert and girl time.

For one of my friends we went to a local hotel for afternoon tea.

When my MOH asked what I want mine to be like I said it would be fun to go white water rafting.

I went to one that was a pallet painting party then we went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. I myself am also not a big partier either so I am looking to do something similar for mine. A dinner and some fun activity like an escape room, axe throwing, a spa day and the painting parties would be fun!

We did brunch at my apartment and then got our nails done, got bubble tea, and watched a movie!

In my opinion, anything can be a bachelorette party. Just pick something that you like to do and do it together. 🙂 My MOH isn’t inclined toward the whole penis party thing, and I have to agree. My personal interest is in historical architecture and I have a strong inkling that my bachelorette party is gonna involve a surprise trip to see Wright’s Fallingwater.

I know a few details of mine. We are going to stay in an AirBNB and go to the Tennessee Aquarium and maybe do a spa day. No partying, no drinking, no penis shaped things 😂

I think we're planning to do painting! I've always wanted to try axe throwing as well... all my girls love Broadway and musicals so maybe we'll just watch movies!

I live near the poconos so we are renting an air bnb cabin for the weekend and are probably going to go out to dinner, a winery, and play board games

Depending on where you live you could go to a vineyard, orchard picking, hiking, some type of market. The magnolia market is a super cute place in Texas. You could have a grown up sleep over, lots of food, wine, movies, homemade games, if your into baking y’all could do that too!

We stayed in an air bnb for the weekend.
my matron of honour organised for some fun bachelorette games. The one I loved the most was each girl had to bring an item that was associated with a memory with me. I had to guess who the memory was with and tell the story behind it. It was a fun ice breaker and now I have some sentimental items to look back on Smiley smile we then set up a big grazing platter/picnic on the beach the next day, and went sun baking. It was lovely.

🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️ I’m like you! I’ve been in recovery for close to 5 years, so I’m not interested in any clubbing or male strippers pouring champagne on me (I’ve heard it’s been done! Lol)

For my bach weekend, my girls and I are getting an Airbnb in Jersey City (2 of my girls and I live on Long Island, my MOH lives in VT, and the last 2 live in the burroughs) - JC was a much cheaper alternative to Manhattan for accommodations. Anyway, my theme is a combo of Bride & Boujie for when we’re out and about and Old School Slumber Party when we’re back in.

    Day 1:
    - full on spa day, with rooftop pools, massages, saunas, the works
    - we’ll go back to the apartment to freshen up THEN
    - dinner & a drag show in Manhattan 😍
    - come back and do facemasks, nails, all the slumber party goodness

    Day 2:
    - slow morning in our pjs baking breakfast together
    - some museum popping around
    - and ending with the most me experience EVER: going to Manhattan’s #1 cat cafe 😻😻😻

Sorry for my long winded reply!! But, I totally get not wanting to go cray and just wanting to have a day all about you with your girls. I’m sure there’s things happening at mine that I don’t know about bc my MOH is the best, so I’m sure you’ll get some surprises too from those who know and love you best!! Congrats girl!! 💞

My girls and I are not huge partiers either. We went to Pigeon Forge, TN and did the Alcatraz East museum (we all love true crime) and the lumber jack show. It was the best!!

My bridesmaids and I are doing a low-key weekend at my family's summer house in upstate NY. Swimming, hiking, eating good food, and hanging out together are the main events. For us it is about spending quality time together - we'll go out drinking too but you could easily stay in and have a movie night instead!

We did horseback riding and went to a virtual reality gaming experience aha. Those are both expensive though but I'd look at what you've got on your bucket list and create new memories with your friends

A spa day is a MUST! Definitely a paint night would be fun too. Maybe a scavenger hunt? Anything active can be fun too! Like a hike, or going on a boat, something to that nature. There are so many great things you can do tbh! Sounds like you have some planning to do Smiley smile have fun!

There are some great ideas in here for everyone else. I know people who have had a chill girls night watching movies, eating, and doing skin care together.
