"Bachelorette" Party Thoughts?

Alyssa, on October 27, 2019 at 2:28 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 3
So my husband is in the Navy so we had a courthouse wedding. Due to the nature of his career, we didnt have any family here and it was quite last minute. He is getting out this winter and we are having our "Wedding" with friends and family in June.
Some of my friends (bridesmaids/men) are wanting to throw a "bachelorette" party of sorts.
I know logically it wont be a bachelorette party and they know I want it to be a low-key mani-pedis and mimosas sort of event.
Is it inappropriate for me to allow it to be called a "bach" party since I'm already married? My friends are excited to do this and I dont want them to be disappointed, are there any alternative name ideas that you guys have? Am I feeling guilty over absolutely nothing? Help! Lol

I think if everyone is fine with calling it a bachelorette, then it doesn't matter.

You could just call it a girls night, but I really don’t think it matters what you call it.

Hey Alyssa! Congratulations! You must be so excited to celebrate your marriage with your family and friends!

I certainly don't think it matters that you call it a bachelorette party unless it makes you feel uncomfortable? Would you feel happier calling it a 'girls night'?
