Bachelorette Party — share your experience!

I’m in the initial phases of planning my bach party and would love some ideas. My MoH and I are both getting married next summer, so we’ve decided to have a combined party. It’ll be about 15 girls (give or take) and we’re looking for something budget friendly and no longer than 4 nights. We live in NY and want to avoid ridiculous flight costs if possible (but we are willing to fly if we get a good deal!). Any ideas? What did you do? Did you have a large group? Share photos! I had my bachelorette party in Atlantic City. There were 5 of us in a 2 bedroom VRBO rental, but there were tons of larger rental properties in the area. We spent 2 nights, cooked all but 1 dinner at the house (we ate at Carmine’s inside Tropicana). That Saturday we went to the boardwalk and outlets, then had the night out at dinner and some nicer bars. It was a blast, and it was only like $200 or so pp for everything.

My fiancée had his bachelor party in Myrtle Beach area (they rented a house in Murrel’s Inlet, just south of Myrtle Beach). They had 8 or 9 people, spent about $90 pp on the house for 3 nights and also cooked a lot of their meals. They went to Broadway at the Beach which is more touristy one night, went to the Marshwalk in Murrel’s Inlet another night, and just hung out on the beach the other night. Their house was walking distance from the beach. They did spend $300-400 each on flights, Saturday to Tuesday Memorial Day weekend. (Fri-Mon would’ve been $700+ for flights)

I'm from PA and my and some girlfriends took a 17 hour road trip to New Orleans. The drive wasn't terrible because we took turns and if I didn't plan it last minute we would have flew. But I do not regret it. It was the time of my life!! NOLA is def. a place tons of brides and grooms go to celebrate because there were a lot bachelorette and bachelor parties. We went on a swamp tour, out on Bourbon Street, and explored the city. Best of all was the food. The south had the most amazing food ever. I know you can get flights around $250 roundtrip. I'll be going back with my husband for sure.

Also I've been to Vegas quite a few times. And with a group of girls it is gonna be pretty cheap for you. A lot of clubs will give you a free table because they like to try to make their clubs seem full of girls. Flights are also SUPER cheap to Vegas. I like Vegas too but I personally think New Orleans was so much cooler

I live in Los Angeles and we just did a day of activities. I don't think it needs to be a big trip. We went horseback riding and did this virtual reality gaming experience

We are going to Palm Springs! My Aunt and Uncle have a house on a golf course that they offered me for a weekend when I graduated college, so we are taking them up on it. It has a pool so we are bringing floaties and drinks! We plan on 3 days:

a girls night in - late swimming, ordering take out, watching movies, playing games

a girls night out - Dressing up, possibly going bowling, fancy dinner, drink, maybe dancing

    and Sunday brunch!
