Bachelorette and Bridal Showers being postponed due to covid

So far the one i am planning for the bride isn't postponed yet but i figure if we had to, we could still do what she wants but indoors! for instance she wanted to do brunch and paint nite and so we can certainly still do that but indoors.

We rented an Airbnb for mine in September!! Going to the mountains where there is a lake beach, fire pit in the backyard and horseback riding nearby😊

I floated the idea of moving my 6/6 shower and bachelorette party to 8/6. It’s a Thursday, but it would lead right into the wedding on Saturday.


Thursday: early afternoon shower, evening bachelorette party
Friday: nails, rehearsal, and rehearsal dinner
Saturday: wedding and reception
I’m hoping that by August, it’ll be safe!

View Quoted Comment Thanks, Alyssa! We pulled the trigger yesterday and moved our events. My MOH, a bridesmaid, godmother, and MOB were quick to act and all agreed it would be best. The shower venue was actually thrilled that we weren’t canceling all together and now I get a bigger event space because they want to make it extra special 😭
