Bachelor-bachelorette Thoughts?

Doing a group Bach Party In Vegas. All my bridesmaids and my fiancé's groomsmen

My maid of honor has rough drafted an itinerary for me and it consist of a mixture of activities like Drag Brunch, Spa days, Vegas shows (magic mike) and clubbing. We would all stay at an AirBnB preferably w a pool as this activity fills a great chunk of our day and its costly effective. (not in this order and all in a 2.5 day span).

Has anyone done this? Good idea.? Bad Experiences? Recommendations ?

For Context its a party of 16.

Wedding is May 13 2023 and we are planning to do this the weekend prior.

TIA 🤍

Do most of the wedding party pretty much know each other then? It is different but seems fine to have both the bridesmaids and groomsmen if it seems like it will work out okay

May is a major hot season month in LV so best to book reservations, table service, or contact a host sooner than later for a party of 16. If you are staying off strip, be sure to factor in Uber $ or multiple car rentals and paid lot parking. I stayed at the Sahara last Nov and greatly enjoyed the spa. I did not partake in Magic Mike, but I think you get discounts as a Rewards member. Have fun and don't forget to schedule rest as the hot sun tires most.

Just re-read you're trying to go the week prior to your wedding. For less drama and stress so close to the wedding, I would recommend everyone share hotel rooms rather than Air BnB. There are Many disappointed WW posts on failed bach wkds due to changing finances of loved ones. Most hotels have a free pool, and you would be closer to the action and saving on rental car and parking fees. Good luck.

If you're planning to actually rent through airbnb, I would double check with the host. Many listings specifically say no bachelor/bachelorette parties. Wouldn't want you to lose your accommodation!

I think doing a group party sounds like fun! I'd echo to check out the specific rules for any AriBnB you're considering just to make sure things don't go haywire. I'd also consider maybe two weekends before the wedding vs the weekend right before just to give everyone some time to recover.

I would space out the bachelorette party further than one week. There are a ton of things to do a couple weeks leading up to the day.
