There's no specific timeline, but I personally wouldn't want a shower 6 months before the wedding. Within 3 months of the wedding is typical.

I agree with PP. Six months before seems kind of soon but if there's reasons you want it then, go for it.

We have the same wedding date! Yay! We’re having my bridal shower August 8, 2020 so that FH’s sister and my bridesmaid can make it without missing school. I think June might be a little too early, but 2-3 months should be okay.

I think doing it late summer 2020 (august or september) is fine.

I think late May or early June is the perfect time! That's not too far in advance and the weather hopefully won't be too bad. Start looking at potential places to see what dates they have available and that may help you pick a date!

I think this is entirely up to you! Our wedding is in March, and we are doing our shower in November. That was the best time that worked for our schedules, and I didn't want to wait until the last minute to have a shower. We are doing some remodeling at the house, and I wanted to be able to put things where I wanted them and not wait until later when there was a lot going on. I wouldn't care if anyone thought it was too early. If you guys want to do it in May or June, then do it in May or June!

I'm November 7, 2020, so just a day before you. We planned on doing an early September bridal shower.

Wedding triplets! Same name and all Congrats!

My wedding is November 7, 2020 and my sister/MOH is planning an early August bridal shower so she can knock it out before school starts (she's a teacher). I think whatever works for you and the planner is A OK!
