Anyone Wearing Anything Special for Their Rehearsal Dinner?

I wore a dress my mom had bought me a few years prior that I had never worn before because I didn't really have an occasion to wear it.

Every bride I have personally seen at a rehearsal dinner has worn a dressy top and either very nice jeans or dressy slacks. The dinners have always been casual: pizza/Mexican/Chinese. I have never seen a bride wear a dress or white to the rehearsal but everyone is different. Wear whatever you love in your closet.

It all comes down to personal preference! I wore a white lacy dress dress to mine, but you can wear anything you want

I'm wearing something kind of nice because it's at a nice venue. I just bought a white frilly midi dress that I liked. I woild say it looks like a graduation or summer party dress--not super fancy, but nicer than just tossing on a casual outfit. You likely have something you could wear in your closet

I have lots of dresses I love already in my closet, so I will pick whichever one I am feeling that night!

What you wear depends mostly on the formality of the venue. We are having our rehearsal at a really nice but funky restaurant, so I will be wearing a dress to match the vibe. I probably already have something in my closet, but I love an excuse to shop! lol If you have a dress or outfit that matches the formality of the event already in your closet, you can definitely feel free to wear it. Or, if you like an excuse to shop, get some thing new that you feel great in!

Dress for the venue and service, like any other night put. Fancy place, nice atmosphere, dress up. Casual place dress down unless the bride and groom or hostess inform you of some other level of formality.

Agreed with Ava - depends on the formality of your event and venue.

One of my best friends had a 40-person rehearsal dinner in an upscale Spanish restaurant where the meal was $50 a plate. Anything less than a nice cocktail dress would have been tacky.

My rehearsal dinner was grabbing a table for 10 at the Hard Rock Café, so I just had on a tee and jeans.

We are gonna be at the church setting up, ordering pizza delivered to the church served with soda.. i am gonna wear jeans, sneakers, and a white t-shirt.

Our rehearsal dinner was in a private room of the restaurant of a country club (same one our wedding was at, but different space), so it was a bit on the fancier side. I found a cute off-white lace dress at TJ Maxx for $35 that I wore. I also brought it to our honeymoon for dinner out.

Our rehearsal dinner is going to be at a restaurant, so I'll probably wear a dress that's a little more casual/semi-dressy (nothing too fancy).

Never been to a rehearsal dinner where the bride didn't wear white. It all depends on the venue. If you have a casual venue jeans/skirt and a nice blouse should do. I'm wearing a white slip dress for mine

I got my dress from Ross. I don’t get many chances to to really dress up, so I went with a long sequin red dress! We had our dinner at a nice Italian restaurant and I was no doubt over dressed but I was the bride! I was allowed to be! As the bride I don’t think it’s exactly necessary for you to match the vibe of your venue, and long as you’re over dressing not I see dressing.
I tried on several white ones but didn’t love any of them. But if you have an outfit you want to wear in your closet go for it!
