Alone time

Im definitely the type of person who needs my alone time. My husband has scheduled social activities out of the house on tuesdays and thursdays and I cherish those evenings by myself to just veg around and do whatever I want.

Yes!! Me time is so important for both.

We have pretty different work schedules so I luckily get a lot of alone time in the evenings because he gets up very early for work and has an early bedtime because of that. This gives me time to watch This Is Us and all those other shows I like by myself that he isn't into. I think it's important for couples to balance couple time and individual time.

I love watching my "murder shows" (true crime documentaries) on Netflix, and my husband does not. So when he's out of the house, I marathon episodes of murder shows while crocheting or doing laundry lmao. Little moments of happiness!


But in all seriousness, being married doesn't mean either of you need to be together at all times. Have different hobbies and interests and you'll have something to talk about at the end of the day.

Yes to alone time! We both need it even though I feel
Like my husband wants me around him more often. A year later we are still learning to find balance. I also work from home and he doesn’t so that helps me have some ‘me time’
