Happy 6th month anniversary 🎉 🍾 and beautiful pics!! It’s funny because we were originally 10/10/20 as well. So it’s cute to know that today would have been 6 months of marriage. But we still wanted to host the wedding we originally planned. So, instead, we postponed to this October, for reasons that you mentioned. I know how I am and if we moved forward with a scaled down wedding last year, then I would’ve completely skipped having a bigger reception later. There wouldn’t be a need for a “do over” months later and it wouldn’t have had that same initial feeling/impact to me by then anyway. Also, it would be even more difficult for me to truly justify now spending money unnecessarily when we’ve already married for months or a year (I’d rather travel or shop with the unused money 😉). So I think you made the perfect decision to enjoy the wedding you had and happily move on with newlywed/married life. Congrats!!!!

Such a beautiful wedding! You are missing out on nothing. Your wedding looks like it was beautiful, intimate, and joyful without having to spend the extra $15k. Congratulations and enjoy the birthday bash with the kids! Sounds like a perfect way to still use the DJ booking.

We saw this similar picture when we first met our photographer from a wedding she had photographed at our church and we fell in love with it. That is the reason we chose her.
