2 outfits for engagement photos?

So my mom, mentioned have a change of clothes for engagement photos, I've never heard of anyone doing this before. Is it a thing? Has anyone here done it? What's the reasoning? Like so you can have formal and casual?

We had two outfits for our engagement photos. One outfit was dressy casual and the other was an evening gown and suit.

We did two outfits as well. I wanted to invert the colors black and red. I love how they turned out, my mom shot them for us! 💕

Hi! I don't know whether it is a thing, but I have heard of people having two different outfits for their engagement photos. I believe that you should do whatever feels right for you: if you want to have two outfits or more, you should, if you don't, one is just as good.
