Straight hair has gotten too long but needs to stay long?

I am not going to hack off any length yet as the big day is 20 so odd away and I want the Hollywood glam hair. But man it is so long and does not have a shape since I have naturally straight hair. Any tips on how to look good with simple styles still...

Hmm I have yet found any luck of a floral preservation in Calgary, Alberta. I think I can find silica gel for a DIY flower preservation, the FH will hate it as it may be something you need some space for and it is a 3 week project. Anyone ever tried...
