Activity for Marie

We just had a 50th Anniversary party for my parents (which was amazing!!) and she is now ready to cut her original dress apart and make something for me from it. I should state that she was probably a size 4 and I am a size 22 - so... wearing it is...

We are planning a fairly small event (about 150 or so) and will probably have a separate reception in my hometown later... do we really need to send save the dates?

I went and tried on dresses for the first time today... and think I found "the one"... however, my mom was not there... actually... I was alone. I want her to have this experience with me, since I am her only daughter and finally found the right man...
