This might be a long shot, but is anyone else planning a wedding in Maui?

I am having a destination wedding in Hawaii and I am cringing at the thought of spending thousands of dollars for some flowers that are just going to be thrown away a few hours later. Has anyone tried making their own bouquet and centerpieces?

I found a website called Thumbtack, where you define what type of vendor you're looking for and specify the date, location and hours needed. And vendors will message you with their quote for your wedding! Are there any other websites that do this?
